Our original MicroPoint™ and MicroNet™ fence detection systems have reached End of Life. It is our goal to support our sales partners and end users in evaluating and planning an upgrade to Southwest Microwave’s next-generation INTREPID MicroPoint™ II or MicroNet™ II technologies.
Though we plan to support product repairs through 2021 (or until hardware components are no longer available) and to provide technical support for the life of these systems, replacement parts for original MicroPoint™ and MicroNet™ are no longer available for purchase.
INTREPID™ MicroPoint™ II and MicroNet™ II offer superior performance and features to our original MicroPoint™ and MicroNet™ systems. These next-generation solutions seamlessly integrate with our buried cable and microwave detection systems on a single digital network platform and offer the flexibility of high-level interface with leading third-party PSIM and VMS control applications.
The upgrade path is simple, in many cases requiring only a simple change of system hardware. Most upgrade designs can reuse existing MicroPoint™ sensor cable from the original system, simplifying the installation process and maximizing cost efficiency.
