Product Retirement: Graphic Control Module II-HD

Southwest Microwave will be retiring the INTREPID™ Graphic Control Module II-HD (GCM II-HD) on March 1, 2025. We encourage our integrator partners and end-users of this system to plan in advance of Product Retirement date to ensure adequate inventory of spare modules, and to consider upgrade to our new-generation Windows®-based INTREPID™ Graphic Alarm Manager software to address future alarm monitoring requirements.

Graphic Alarm Manager (GAM) is a dedicated system controller with graphic mapping capabilities, providing local GUI-based alarm monitoring and control of INTREPID™ Series II and POE-S intrusion detection systems, contact closure auxiliary security devices and CCTV equipment. This convenient, new-generation alternative to the GCM II-HD replaces a LINUX operating system and hardened physical module with a robust, software-only monitoring platform that installs on any Windows® PC.

Graphic Alarm Manager application software provides robust system configuration and management. It features a user-friendly GUI that enables system operators to efficiently manage their facility’s perimeter security program by incorporating a high-resolution site map to display detection zones and active transparent icons representing each system device’s assignable alarm points.

Graphic Alarm Manager provides equivalent functionality as the GCM II-HD it replaces, along with the added flexibility of an intuitive Windows® operating system and TCP/IP based communications. The upgrade path requires only an INTREPID™ Remote Polling Module II (RPM II) and Graphic Alarm Manager application software installed on a user-supplied Windows® PC. Users deploying Graphic Alarm Manager for INTREPID™ POE-S applications do not require an RPM II.

Southwest Microwave and our certified Partners can support you in upgrading your current GCM II-HD to Graphic Alarm Manager. We encourage you to contact us for a customized proposal.
